Welcome to the RLSH Crime Fighting Division

The code of the RLSH (Real Life Superheroes) is Safety-Service-Justice. This blog is designed to honor that code, while expanding upon that philosophy in a way that is compliant with The Law. Understand that not all things discussed are legal in every state, and wherever you reside, as an RLSH it is a fine line we walk, but walk it we must. No persons under the age of 18 should ever attempt to be a crime fighter, and should stick to the RLSH basics of MUCH NEEDED public service, helping the poor, and patrolling for trouble to notify police of. This blog will not only cover the basics of Crime Fighting, but also advanced tactics, and tips and information on how to do so 100% legally.

HOW DO I DO THIS LEGALLY?

Kind of hard to believe isn't it, that you could LEGALLY track down fugitives in you superhero suit and superhero mobile and bring them to justice- but you can! In order to do this you must become licensed as a fugitive recovery agent. More commonly known as Bounty Hunters, before you turn your nose up to this notion, you may want to be more informed as to what a fugitive recovery agent really is. A Fugitive Recovery Agent does a GREAT service to the public! When bail is set for an accused person, they have the option to pay 10% of that bail to get out, and they do this by contacting a bail bondsman. This is a contract between the bondsman- the accused, and the court that says- well, that they are going to show up for court. Having such a system is necessary for many reasons. #1. If you are falsely accused of something, and sitting in jail, you will likely loose your job, followed swiftly by your home, especially if you are sitting in jail for awhile. Posting bail allows you to get out until your court date, and continue to work, if you have a family, this is detrimentally important. In a way this process protects our right of innocent until proven guilty.

Unfortunately, there are those with less than honorable intentions, and due to the fact that they are guilty, they use this time to flee. When this happens there becomes a volatile situation where a dangerous criminal, becomes a DESPERATE DANGEROUS CRIMINAL and is now a great burden on society since they are likely to do anything to stay on the run. This is where Fugitive Recovery Agents come in, it is their job to face this danger head on, often times risking their life to bring the fugitive to justice. Imagine, a criminal is on the run, and is killing innocent people and stealing their identities in an effort to remain in hiding. That isn't a scenario, it's a statistic. And sometimes the end result in the retrieval of these fugitives may even be death as MOST Fugitive Recovery Agents use guns, and well, The RLSH do not. Get the picture? all it takes is one stray bullet from either party, and innocent people can die.

Becoming a Fugitive Recovery Agent is NOT simple, it requires training, and some cash to do so, and the requirements, as well as the liberties of these licenses vary state to state. In Addition to becoming a Fugitive recovery agent, you can also be a bondsman yourself, as these are MUCH needed, and few currently wish to work with RLSH, but there are a few. Also, in the case of an Amber Alert most states have good Samaritans laws, and citizens arrest when it comes to kidnapping, and while the police should always be contacted, a child should never have someone turn their back on them- even if that means tailing the suspect. Witnessing at the moment crime is usually included in the good Samaritans laws, be sure to know the laws in your state, and always contact police first. Obviously we should never let another person die, nor should we put them in a position that can get them killed.

And while RLSH are never about being paid, FRA are generally paid handsomely, but it is up to you how you use that pay, or even get paid at all. There is no shame in upgrading or replacing equipment or donating your earning entirely. Now you know how you can be an active part of crime fighting in addition to your regular patrolling and other service work. If you do not want your identity made public, find a Bail Bondsman you can trust who is "OK" with your "Methods", and  retain a prepaid legal attorney, make sure that while the police know your name, that you wish the public do not for safety reasons, if needed, hand them that prepaid legal card. Be on top of your game my friends, we walk a fine line.
